The control arm acts as the mechanical bridge between the operator’s lever and the internal valve stem on Rotary FA349 and FA350 series valves. This heavy-duty arm converts the manual pivoting motion of the handle into the linear travel required to actuate the valve core. Because it is a high-leverage component, it can become bent, cracked, or worn at the pivot points over years of daily service, leading to excessive “play” in the controls or a complete inability to engage the lift.
