  3. Remove the caliper bolts and slide the caliper off the rotor
  4. Remove the worn brake pads and hardware
  5. Compress the caliper piston to make room for the new, thicker pads
  6. Install the new pads and hardware, then reinstall the caliper and torque the bolts to spec
  7. Repeat on the opposite side, then pump the brake pedal to seat the pads before driving
  8. Bed in the new pads following the manufacturer’s break in procedure
